Job summary

Milwaukee Health and Rehab is seeking a full-time transportation driver to provide safe, timely transport of patients and pre-arranged deliveries. You will review daily agendas, plan routes, transport patients, and maintain confidentiality and vehicle safety. A valid Wisconsin driver’s license and clean driving record are required, along with a drug screen and background checks.

The role emphasizes courteous patient interactions and adherence to safety protocols in all transportation activities.

Qualifications

• Excellent ability to communicate with patients and health personnel.
• Valid Wisconsin driver's license and insurability.
• Must pass criminal background check, driving history check, and drug screen.
• Ability to operate the wheelchair lift and assist patients safely.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on time and maintain a professional appearance.
• Review daily agenda and plan the day’s routes.
• Transport patients according to schedule.
• Maintain courteous attitude towards patients and health personnel.
• Report delays or problems to Administrator promptly.
• Keep assigned vehicle clean and perform daily safety checks.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records and information.
• Other duties as assigned.
