Job summary

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is seeking an experienced Transportation Coordinator (CNA/EMT) to manage resident transport and related logistics. The role involves coordinating transport, maintaining vehicles, and liaising with hospitals and clinics to ensure smooth patient care.

The position requires NC CNA/EMT DFS registration, valid driver’s license, CPR certification, and the ability to plan, organize, and work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Must have valid NC driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must be 21 years or older and of good moral character.
• Must be registered with DFS as CNA or EMT in North Carolina.
• Current CPR certification (American Heart Association).
• Ability to plan, organize, and follow-up on work assignments.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Transportation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of transporting residents.
• Ensure proper maintenance of facility vehicles.
• Represent the facility professionally with medical providers.
• Schedule patient appointments and maintain calendar.
• Maintain logs for each transport and vehicle.
• Ensure routine maintenance on transport vehicles.
• Create and maintain vehicle maintenance schedules.
• Foster relationships with community, hospitals, and facilities.
• Take specimens to hospitals/clinics as requested.
• Procure supplies from local vendors as needed.
