Qualifications

• Ability to plan, organize, and follow up on work assignments.
• Ability to make independent decisions and work well under pressure.
• Transportation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of transporting residents.
• Maintain logs for each transport and for each vehicle.
• Represent the facility professionally with medical providers.
• Schedule appointments and maintain a calendar of transports.
• Ensure routine vehicle maintenance and establish maintenance schedules.
• Foster good relationships with the community, hospitals, and health care facilities.
• Transport specimens and items to hospitals or clinics as requested.
• Procure supplies from local vendors as needed by staff.
