Job summary

Qualifications

• Current American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
• Experience as CNA, MA, or psychiatric technician is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide constant observation and monitoring of assigned patients to ensure safety.
• Greet patient, identify self, and explain purpose; position self to maintain visual observation.
• Never leave the patient alone or out of sight unless instructed by the nurse.
• Observe patient activity and behavior; communicate with the nurse and report changes promptly.
• Provide for patient comfort, safety and satisfaction; maintain a safe and orderly environment.
