Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. seeks a Patient Registration - Customer Service professional to assist patients checking into the hospital. You will collect information accurately and listen compassionately to address fears and questions in a fast-paced, tech-enabled setting.

No healthcare experience is required; training will cover registration processes. You must be comfortable with computers and phones, be able to work across multiple programs, and meet vaccination and background check requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service experience is expected.
• Ability to type and use multiple computer screens efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and input patient data across multiple screens.
• Ensure information is entered quickly and accurately between physician and nurse check-ins.
• Provide compassionate service to reduce patient anxiety during registration.
• Assist patients with registration and insurance information as needed.
