Job summary

Qualifications

• Education/experience as listed: high school diploma or GED preferred; similar work environment preferred.
• English language proficiency: speak, read and write.
• Basic math: add, subtract, multiply and divide simple numbers.
• Reasoning: apply common sense to carry out tasks and adapt to changes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the meal preparation using recipes and portion control.
• Assist with preparation of snacks.
• Assist with delivery of the meal and snacks at specified times.
• Assist with cleaning and sanitation following infection and sanitation guidelines.
• Review tray and tray card for accuracy based on physician prescribed diet, patient preferences and production spreadsheet.
• Maintain food and beverages within safe temperatures throughout preparation and serving.
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with peers, staff and patients.
