Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; similar work environment preferred.
• Ability to speak, read and write the English language.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide simple numbers.
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out simple tasks and create solutions as changes arise.
• Food Handlers and/or ServSafe preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Assist with the meal preparation using recipes and portion control.
• Assist with preparation of snacks.
• Assist with delivery of the meal and snacks at specified times.
• Assist with cleaning and sanitation following infection and sanitation guidelines.
• Review tray and tray card for accuracy based on physician prescribed diet, patient preferences and production spreadsheet.
• Maintain food and beverages within safe temperatures throughout preparation and serving.
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with peers, staff and patients.
