Job summary

ISH Dining Services is seeking dedicated Food Service Aide to assist in meal preparation and service in a residential care setting. The role includes transporting trays, labeling nourishment, and maintaining sanitary kitchen areas.

You will work under the supervision of the Director of Food Service and assist with inspections and training, while following CMS vaccination guidelines and safety procedures to ensure resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Cleans food service work areas and maintains sanitary conditions.
• Transports trays to resident floors and serves meals as needed.
• Follows CMS vaccination guidelines as required.
• Assists with state inspections preparation and training.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and/or assists in preparation of meals, snacks and beverages.
• Labels nourishment and transports them to resident floors.
• Inspects work areas for safety hazards and reports problems.
• Communicates with supervisors to meet residents' needs.
• Reports injuries to supervision immediately and follows infection-control procedures.
