Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and maneuver food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing to ensure nutritional requirements are met.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team to offer menu options for allergies and preferences.
• Assemble meals according to patient selections and retrieve trays at scheduled times.
• Follow HIPAA, HACCP, and facility sanitation policies and procedures.
• Support dietitians in monitoring patients on specific diets or calorie counts.
