Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred.
• Basic knowledge of patient care practices and equipment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work collaboratively within a team.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assists nursing staff in delivering care and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment.
• Collects and records patient data including vital signs and intake/output, reporting to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Supports patients with meals, bathing, grooming, and activities of daily living.
• Assists with patient positioning, ambulation, and mobility aids.
• Performs or assists with basic specimen collection and glucose monitoring; reports results.
• Communicates patient information effectively to the care team and adheres to PPE protocols.
• Maintains infection control standards and participates in safety and quality initiatives.
• May provide continuous observation of the patient as required.
