Northwest Healthcare is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care under RN/LPN supervision. The role supports activities of daily living, data collection, mobility, and communication within the care team.

The position requires 0–2 years in acute care or Nursing program enrollment, with BCLS within 90 days of hire. CNA or CPCT certifications are preferred. Completing PPE and infection control protocols is essential.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of acute care experience or nursing program enrollment preferred
• BCLS certification within 90 days of hire required
• CNA or CPCT certification preferred

Responsabilités

• Assists nursing staff in delivering care and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Collects and records vital signs and other data, reporting to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Supports patients with meals, bathing, grooming, and daily activities.
• Assists with positioning, mobility, and use of mobility aids.
• Performs urine and stool collection and glucose monitoring as directed.
• Communicates patient information clearly to the care team.
• Maintains infection control practices and PPE usage.
• Participates in performance improvement and risk management.
