Qualifications

• PCT minimum qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of a PCT program with at least 6 months hospital experience, OR CNA graduate with EKG & Phlebotomy coursework and PCT certification eligible plus 6 months hospital experience.
• PCT Certification through NHA with at least 6 months hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the professional nurse in patient care tasks.
• Provide safe, compassionate care and support to patients and families.
• Participate in data collection for Quality and Performance Improvement.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge procedures as needed.
• Maintain unit cleanliness and safety and communicate effectively with the health care team.
