Job summary

Virtua Health, a Magnet-recognized health system serving South Jersey, seeks a patient-care assistant to support daily living activities under RN/LPN direction. This on-site role at Voorhees offers night shifts, a 36-hour weekly schedule, and collaborative care across departments.

You will assist with bathing, dressing, mobility, vital signs, and patient education, while maintaining safety standards. A High School diploma or GED and BLS are required, with phlebotomy skills a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic patient care skills, procedures and standards.
• Strong communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).
• Support the healthcare team and communicate changes in patient status.
• Perform vital signs, point-of-care testing, bladder scanning, Foley catheter care; may perform phlebotomy and EKGs where certified.
