Job summary

Virtua Health in Mount Holly, NJ seeks a compassionate patient care assistant to support daily living activities and care plans under RN/LPN supervision. You will communicate clearly with patients, families, and the healthcare team while maintaining high ethical standards.

You will perform vital signs, assist with mobility, and help with documentation, phlebotomy/EKG if certified, and participate in patient satisfaction initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a PCT course or an RN program fundamentals or CNA training.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with healthcare teams.
• Basic patient care skills and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and plan of care under supervision.
• Support the healthcare team, patient and family, and maintain ethics.
• Perform vital signs, data collection, and routine caregiving tasks.
• Reinforce patient and family education and participate in quality initiatives.
• Assist in orientation of new hires and support shift operations.
