Job summary

ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Tech to support the nursing team during night shifts. You will assist with patient hygiene, feeding, and daily activities, while helping with admissions, discharges, and transfers.

The role includes taking vitals, monitoring patients, and delivering supplies to ensure efficient operation. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, CPR/BCLS certification, and preferably a CNA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CPR with Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Preferred: Certified Nurse Aide certification.
• Ability to follow routine written and verbal instructions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across age groups.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with hygiene, feeding, and daily living activities.
• Aid in scheduling procedures and coordinating admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Take and record vital signs and monitor patient condition as directed.
• Answer calls, deliver specimens and documents, and support nursing staff.
• Maintain patient room cleanliness and assist with mobility and transport.
