Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care under RN/LPN supervision in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, data collection, and maintaining a safe, organized care environment.

The candidate should have 0-2 years of acute care experience or be enrolled in a nursing program. BCLS required within 90 days; CPCT or CNA is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist nursing staff in delivering care and maintaining a safe, organized environment.
• Record and report vital signs and other patient data to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Support with meals, bathing, grooming, linen changes, and mobility assistance.
• Assist with patient positioning, ambulation, and use of mobility aids.
• Collect samples and monitor glucose, documenting results for clinical staff.
• Maintain infection control practices and use PPE appropriately.
• Participate in performance improvement and risk management activities.
