Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care under RN/LPN supervision. You will assist with activities of daily living, collect data, and ensure a safe, organized care setting while communicating within the healthcare team.

The role requires basic patient care knowledge, strong organizational skills, and adherence to safety protocols. CNA or CPCT preference may apply; BCLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in acute care; nursing program preferred.
• BCLS within 90 days of hire required.
• CNA or CPCT certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist nursing staff with delivering care and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Collect and record vital signs and other patient data; report to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Aid with meals, bathing, oral care, linen changes, and mobility assistance.
• Support patient positioning, transfers, and mobility with aids.
• Collect urine/stool samples and monitor glucose as directed.
• Communicate patient information clearly to the care team.
• Adhere to infection control and PPE protocols.
• Participate in performance improvement and risk management activities.
• Maintain regular attendance and follow policies and standards.
