Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent
• Experience: No experience required
• Licensure: AHA Health Care Provider BLS Certification required (may be substituted per policy for some hires)
• Must have one of: CNA in VA, EMT in VA, Military Corpsman/Tactical Medic, LPN VA license, Graduate of a certified nursing program, PCT certification (NCCT), Enrolled student nurses with clinicals completed

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, age-appropriate care following medical orders and plan of care
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate updates to health care team
• Maintain safe, clean, stocked clinical environment
• Assist with specimens collection and admissions per policy
