AtlantiCare is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join the care team in New Jersey. You will provide direct and indirect patient care, assist with personal care, and participate in the plan of care under licensed supervision.

Responsibilities include specimen collection, basic lab tasks, and timely data reporting to clinicians. The role emphasizes confidentiality, teamwork, and adapting to a hospital environment while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• CPI training within 1 year of hire or transfer.
• English language proficiency required; bilingual preferred.
• 8 weeks of patient care education or related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care and participate in the plan of care.
• Collect test specimens and perform limited laboratory tasks as directed.
• Maintain confidentiality and communicate observations to the Clinical Associate.
• Support the care team and interact with patients and staff.
