Mercy Health in Perrysburg seeks a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for a four-day schedule (Mon, Tue? no, Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri) from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, reporting to RN guidance.

You will help with basic patient care, vital signs and daily activities, ensuring comfort and safety within a caring team. Applicants should have or obtain BLS, CNA or STNA credentials as part of transition to direct patient care, and experience in acute or related care settings is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• BLS Basic Life Support required or must obtain prior to direct patient care (preferred)
• Nursing aide training completion OR STNA/CNA or nursing program with clinicals OR 1 year of clinical experience

Aufgaben

• Provide basic patient care including comfort, hygiene, mobility and vital sign monitoring.
• Act as liaison between patient and nurse to report changes or concerns.
• Deliver high-level customer service to patients, families, visitors and staff.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.
