MLK Community Healthcare in California is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide direct patient care under the supervision of the RN. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, safety observation, and carrying out tasks to support therapeutic care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The PCT will document vital signs, intake/output, and other patient data in the EHR, while ensuring a clean, safe environment and timely response to patient needs.

Qualificações

• Duties involve direct patient care including activities of daily living
• Ability to measure and record vital signs and intake/output
• Maintain a safe and clean patient environment and respond to call signals
• Basic computer skills to update electronic health records (EHR)

Responsabilidades

• Obtain handoff report from the RN and confirm patient care needs
• Assist patients with daily living activities and oral care
• Record vital signs and input/output in EHR and report changes to RN
• Respond to patient calls promptly and maintain safety standards
