Job summary

Baylor Scott and White Health in Temple, TX is seeking a Patient Care Technician to assist nurses with patient care under supervision. You will collect data, monitor vitals, and help with ADLs, following the care plan and ensuring patient comfort across age groups.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year of experience.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Collects and records patient data, including vital signs.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Responds to call lights and conducts regular rounds.
• Provides personal hygiene care and assists with patient clean-up.
• Adheres to Baylor Scott & White policies and procedures.
• Performs glucose monitoring and specimen collection as requested.
• Directly supports multiple patients during each shift.
