Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support licensed staff in delivering direct patient care in a hospital setting. You will collect data, monitor vital signs, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain a safe, clean care environment.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED and less than one year of experience, with BLS due within 30 days of hire. This is a full-time on-site position with benefits available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year of experience preferred.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Responsabilités

• Collects and records patient data, reporting information to the nurse promptly.
• Obtains and records vital signs, height and weight; documents nutritional intake and output.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (hygiene, dressing, eating, mobility) and changes linens.
• Cleans bedside units and nursing areas; maintains cleanliness of patient rooms and care items.
• Assists with transporting patients and non-medical tasks; answers call lights promptly.
• Maintains unit records and ensures accurate documentation in the patient record.
