Job summary

Allegheny Health Network in Erie, PA is hiring a Patient Care Technician I / Float for full-time rotational shifts. The role provides direct patient care under RN supervision, assists with unit coordination, and supports admissions, discharges, and transfers in a stable patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provides, obtains or performs and documents direct patient care including vital signs and activities of daily living.
• Assists with admissions, discharges and transfers and maintains patient environment.
• Documents care in the EMR and reports changes to nursing staff.
• Supports unit activities such as supply stocking and equipment cleaning.
