Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Limited or no experience: Must be able to attend 2 weeks of training.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides, obtains or performs and documents direct patient care and activities such as daily living activities, vital signs, specimen collection, phlebotomy, I&O, meals, mobility, and basic procedures.
• Participates in quality and patient satisfaction initiatives and rounds to promote safety and cleanliness.
• Accurately documents vital signs, weights, I&O, and other treatments; reports changes to nursing staff.
