Job summary

Intermountain Health in Wheat Ridge, CO is seeking a Patient Care Tech to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in an ambulatory/acutedynamic unit. The role supports RNs with basic care tasks, telemetry when required, and coordination across the care team.

Shift options include full-time day, part-time, and PRN with differential for evenings, nights, and weekends. A strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and effective communication is required.

Qualifications

• CNA certification is required in state of practice.
• BLS certification required for healthcare providers.
• Basic computer literacy required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care including toileting, bathing, linen/clothing changes, hydration, ambulation, comfort, and responsive to patient/family requests.
• Document patient care findings promptly and report changes in condition.
• May perform telemetry duties and monitor patients as needed; coordinate with care team.
• Transport medications to RN from delivery system as required.
• Collaborate with RN and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
