Job summary

Intermountain Health in Colorado is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support the patient care team with basic nursing tasks and data reporting. The role may also cover Health Unit Coordinator responsibilities as needed on the unit.

The candidate should hold a current Colorado CNA and BLS, with strong communication and computer skills to assist RNs, transport medications, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in Colorado is required.
• BLS for healthcare providers is required.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care tasks including toileting, bathing, linen changes, hydration, ambulation, and comfort measures.
• Record and report patient care findings and data in a timely manner.
• Monitor patient condition and coordinate with RN and health care team as needed.
• May perform telemetry duties and act as health unit coordinator as assigned.
