Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Nursing Assistant to assist on the Med Surg Ortho Unit 2. You will help with daily patient activities, maintain a safe and clean environment, and support the care team to ensure a high-quality patient experience.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and BLS certification; age-based work requirements apply for younger applicants. Day shift with 24 hours per week is available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; work permits for younger applicants.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and maintain safety.
• Perform delegable nursing tasks as directed by the RN and collect basic data.
• Support visitors and staff; manage supplies and documentation of patient information.
• Utilize portable devices for recording intake, output and vitals; report concerns to the RN.
