Mercy is hiring a Patient Care Assistant to support nursing staff in delivering individualized patient care. Under the direction of the RN or LPN, you will assist with routine tasks, participate in teamwork, and help achieve patients' wellness goals.

Role emphasizes physical endurance, lifting up to 50 pounds, standing and walking during shifts, and completing the required 175-hour training if no prior experience. BLS certification is required within one month of hire.

Formación

• Education: High school diploma, GED, CNA/CPTC, or enrolled in a healthcare career program.
• Experience: None required.
• Certifications: BLS required within one month of hire; PCA competencies within 3 months.
• State practice: 175-hour training provided if no prior experience; must be completed within 90 days.
• Physical requirements: ability to push/pull/lift 50 pounds; prolonged standing and walking.
• Licensure: BLS and PCA-related training.
