Job summary

Mercy seeks a compassionate Patient Care Assistant to support the nursing team under RN or LPN supervision. You will assist with individualized patient care, participate in designated clinical procedures, and handle essential non-clinical tasks to promote wellness.

No prior experience required; Mercy provides 175-hour training within 90 days and requires BLS within 1 month, PCA competencies within 3 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, CNA/CPTC or in a healthcare program
• BLS certification required within one month of hire
• PCA competencies to be completed within 3 months
• Position requires ability to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods
