Job summary

Mercy is hiring a Patient Care Assistant to assist under the RN or LPN in individualized patient care and to help patients reach their wellness goals. You will collaborate with a team and perform designated clinical procedures and supportive tasks.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (CNA/CPTC or enrollment in a healthcare program is encouraged); BLS within one month and PCA competencies within 3 months of hire are required. Lifting up to 50 pounds is necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; CNA/CPTC preferred or enrolled in a healthcare program.
• BLS certification required within one month of hire.
• PCA competencies must be completed within 3 months of hire.
