Cedar Point Health in Montrose, CO seeks a friendly Patient Scheduling Representative to manage new appointments, recalls, no-shows, and rescheduled visits. You will guide patients through the scheduling process, communicate with clinical staff, and explain expected financial responsibilities.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in a customer service role, strong phone skills, and the ability to multitask while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of experience in a customer service role.
• Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with a service representative that are mostly sedentary with occasional standing, walking, reaching.

Responsibilities

• Makes and takes call with courtesy and compassion, and informs patients of visit requirements.
• Facilitates patient flow and communicates changes with patients and clinical staff.
• Explains financial requirements to the patients or responsible parties.
• Schedules appointments using EHR for patients, makes reminder calls one business day before appointments and maintains the schedule to ensure accuracy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
