Qualifications

• 1-3 years clerical experience and customer service preferred.
• Experience with medical terminology and insurance plans preferred.
• High School diploma required; some college helpful.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient intake including scheduling, registration, and pre-certification.
• Verify benefits and obtain financial clearance, including pre-visit collections.
• Maintain accurate patient data in records with attention to detail.
• Liaise with insurance carriers, Medicare guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
