Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: Associate or Bachelor's in Business, Financial/Healthcare field.
• Experience with medical terminology and data entry.
• Knowledge of billing basics and payor requirements.
• Ability to work independently and handle stress professionally.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and patient registration processes.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect demographic and insurance information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and pre-certification when applicable.
• Obtain and document co-pays, deductibles, and financial responsibilities.
• Educate patients on billing processes and available financial counseling.
• Ensure accuracy of all data in the EHR and related systems.
• Support otherregistration tasks across hospital locations.
