Qualifications

• Registration and scheduling experience preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patient to collect demographic and financial data.
• Verifies insurance coverage and initiates pre-authorizations when required.
• Collects payments and issues receipts; maintains cash logs and deposits.
• Updates computer systems and Sovera with current information.
• Prepares and distributes reports and patient identification items.
• Communicates estimated financial responsibility to patients and assists with payment plans.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
