Job summary

Qualifications

• Education - High School diploma or equivalent OR post-high school diploma/highest degree earned
• Experience - Two (2) years of Admissions, Billing, Collections, Insurance and/or Customer Service

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to collect demographic and financial data.
• Verify insurance and initiate pre-authorization when required.
• Collect payments and issue receipts; assist with daily deposits.
• Prepare and distribute reports and patient identification items.
• Explain estimated financial responsibility to patients and refer to payment programs when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
