Job summary

You’ll handle payments, deposits, and generate routine financial reports for the Outpatient Rehabilitative Services Admin department. The role requires strong basic computer skills, math ability, and familiarity with medical terminology.

Qualifications

• Two years of Admissions, Billing, Collections, Insurance and/or Customer Service experience.
• Experience with patient demographics and financial data is preferred.
• Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to collect demographic and financial data.
• Verify insurance and initiate pre-authorization when required.
• Collect payments and manage deposits according to policies.
• Prepare and distribute reports and patient identification items.
• Follow up for incomplete information and maintain accurate records.
