Qualification highlights include an unrestricted CT RN license, ADN/BSN, CPR/BLS, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Valid, unrestricted RN license in Connecticut.
• Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN); LTC experience preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification as required by facility policy.
• Strong clinical assessment and resident-centered approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in long-term care; reliable attendance.
• Capable of nursing procedures including medication administration, IV therapy, wound care.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' physical, emotional, and medical needs; monitor health status.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and facility policy.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes or emergencies.
• Provide direct nursing care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Collaborate with care team to ensure cohesive resident-centered care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in residents' medical records.
• Communicate with residents and families about status, plans and concerns.
• Educate residents and families regarding care and wellness.
