Job summary

Hillcrest Health & Living is seeking a compassionate Hospice Aide to join our team serving both Hillcrest Hospice and Hillcrest Home Care in the Lincoln area. This part-time role is split between hospice and home health, offering meaningful one-on-one care in patients' homes and a connection between families and the clinical team.

You will provide hands-on personal care, observe patient changes, document vital signs, and support comfort-focused care within the plan of care.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant course required.
• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Nebraska required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care and supportive services according to each patient's plan of care.
• Support patients at home and in hospice; assist with activities of daily living.
• Obtain and document vital signs and communicate changes to the clinical team.
• Assist with meals, bathing, grooming, and mobility.
• Follow infection-control, OSHA, and safety procedures.
