Job summary

AccentCare, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Hospice Aide to provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients in home and facility settings. You will assist with personal hygiene, repositioning and mobility, while maintaining safety and dignity in end-of-life care.

The role requires CNA certification, CPR where applicable, a valid driver's license, and eligibility to work in patient homes or facilities. Flexible scheduling supports 20 hours per week, Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday, with pay

Qualifications

Certified by the state as a nurse’s aide with required training and competency exam.
CPR certification required for direct patient care in applicable states.
Must hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle.
Eligible to provide care in homes, nursing facilities, or hospitals.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to hospice patients, including assistance with personal hygiene, repositioning and mobility support (up to 200 lbs with assistance).
Support patients in their homes or care facilities through movement and activities, such as walking, standing, reaching, and occasional driving.
Monitor comfort levels, respond to needs and assist with daily living activities, maintaining patient safety and dignity.
Work comfortably in home and facility environments, adapting to varying conditions while upholding infection control and safety protocols.
