Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office suite and databases; willingness to learn required.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for services including setting up floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns, photos and keepsakes.
• Prepares documents related to services, cremations, maintenance.
• Assists with preparation of remains including dressing and lifting as permitted by law.
• Performs office duties: answering phones, operating office equipment, and data entry.
• Run errands for supplies and floral deliveries.
• Serves as an usher and may park cars or handle transportation needs.
• Drives Funeral Home vehicles for services and family pickup.
• Ensures refreshments are available where allowed by law.
• Assist with visitations, memorials and funeral services; setup and delivery of family items.
