Job summary

Poway Healthcare Center is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care and services to residents in accordance with assessment and care plans. You will identify residents, assist with activities of daily living, document care, report changes to the Nurse Supervisor, and maintain a safe, respectful environment.

CPR preferred; must have CNA license and at least a 10th grade education.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents using wristband or photo card before care.
• Provide routine daily nursing care per care plans.
• Record and report changes in residents' condition to supervisor.
• Document entries clearly on flow sheets and charts.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report any disclosures or incidents.
• Assist with daily living activities and comfort residents.
• Prepare rooms and assist with transfers and transportation of residents.
• Follow established policies and participate in nursing reports.
