Job summary

Poway Healthcare Center is seeking a Part Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans. You will identify residents, assist with activities of daily living, and maintain accurate documentation under supervision.

The role requires licensure as a CNA in California and is suitable for individuals committed to compassionate care. CPR is preferred and training is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in accordance with state laws.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care according to resident care plans.
• Identify residents before treatments and meals.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Maintain resident privacy and safety, including HIPAA considerations.
• Document and chart accurately on flow sheets and records.
• Assist with activities of daily living and comforts as needed.
• Ensure room is ready for resident admission and transfer.
