Job summary

Poway Healthcare Center is seeking a certified nursing assistant to provide routine daily nursing care and services to residents in accordance with care plans and supervision.

The role includes identifying residents, recording observations, reporting changes to supervisors, assisting with daily activities, maintaining a clean and safe resident environment, and communicating respectfully with residents and staff. CNA license required; CPR preferred; 10th grade education minimum.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant per state laws.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services as per care plans and supervisor directions.
• Identify residents before services using wristbands or photo IDs.
• Record entries accurately and report changes in condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and mobility.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable resident environment throughout the shift.
