Job summary

Inova Behavioral Health Services seeks a dedicated Outpatient Registered Nurse to support the Merrifield clinic with coverage at Alexandria and Sterling as needed. This full-time day-shift role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with no weekends or on-call.

The RN delivers safe, therapeutic care in an outpatient physician practice, coordinating with behavioral health teams. Minimum qualifications include a BSN or ADN (ADN holders must complete BSN within 5 years), current BLS, Virginia

Qualifications

• Education: BSN or ADN; if ADN, BSN within 5 years.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA) required.
• RN license valid in Virginia.
• Proficient in English with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, therapeutic outpatient care in physician practice settings.
• Educate patients and families as part of care provision.
• Serve as a resource, preceptor and mentor to team members.
