Job summary

Inova Occupational Health in Alexandria, VA is seeking a part-time Outpatient Registered Nurse to join our team. This role supports clinic operations Monday through Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with a focus on safety and patient education in an outpatient setting.

The ideal candidate has a BSN (or ADN with BSN within 5 years), Virginia RN license, and BLS certification. Prior occupational health experience is a plus; benefits include comprehensive health coverage and retirement matching.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• If RN has an ADN, must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• RN licensure in Virginia or eligibility to practice in VA.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Full intakes and medication reconciliation as part of clinic operations.
• Patient education and administration of vaccinations/injections/phlebotomy.
• Provide safe/therapeutic care in an outpatient/physician practice setting.
• Incorporate data to improve care and guide practice; serve as a resource and mentor.
• Ensure efficiency in delivery of care and collaborate with team to maximize productivity.
