Job summary

Banyan Treatment Centers is hiring an Intake Coordinator for the Waelder, TX facility. You will own the onsite intake process from arrival through admission, ensuring patients and families feel welcomed and informed in their first moments of care.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, benefits verification, and cross-functional collaboration with Admissions, Clinical, and Facility teams to support smooth transitions into treatment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in behavioral health, healthcare coordination, or healthcare-based customer service.
• High-school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
• Strong administrative, organizational, and time-management skills with attention to confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for new patients, families, visitors, and referral partners upon arrival.
• Manage the full onsite intake from arrival through program entry.
• Verify benefits (VOB) and ensure accurate insurance and financial documentation.
• Maintain admission files and EMR records (Kipu, Salesforce coordination).
• Coordinate client travel with admissions and facility teams to ensure smooth transitions.
