Responsibilities

• Become familiar with the facility's administrative structure as introduced in the pre-training orientation session.
• Report to the charge nurse all accidents/incidents observed on the shift.
• Answer phone especially during mealtimes and assist with resident/staff errands.
• Assist with secretarial tasks at the nursing station and maintain orderly resident areas.
• Follow safety and infection-control policies and support residents' daily routines.
