Job summary

Mesa-Verde-Post-Acute-Care-Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide routine nursing care in alignment with facility policies and nursing protocols. You will report to the Charge Nurse and collaborate with the RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, and Administrator to ensure residents receive compassionate, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a school for nursing assistants or have a license as a CNA.
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a CNA or clinical experience while enrolled in a CNA class.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, family, visitors, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies, procedures and safety rules.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to provide quality care.
• Verify resident ID before administering care or serving meals.
• Make beds, clean bedside and overbed tables; assist with dressing and meals.
• Feed residents who cannot feed themselves and ensure food access.
• Report suspected abuse, medication concerns, hazards or incidents to the Charge Nurse.
• Attend on-site in-service programs and meetings as directed.
