Qualifications

• High School Graduate of State Certified Program Required.
• 1-3 years clinical experience as a nursing student/foreign graduate nurse Required.
• Effective English communication skills, both written and oral.
• BLS Required.
• OHS Fit Test.
• OHS Annual Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance during activities of daily living (e.g., eating, bathing, ambulating) for patients across age groups.
• Meets hygiene and grooming needs (bathing, hair care, oral care).
• Assists with mobility and transfers, including use of splints/braces as needed.
• Maintains skin integrity using turning, pressure relief, and ulcer care.
• Provides patient comfort measures and rest, including bed positioning and back rubs.
• Assists with elimination needs and documents outputs; supports urinary catheter care as required.
• Ensures safety and environmental rounds; responds to call bells promptly.
• Transports patients and documents in patient records; accompanies patients to procedures.
• Adheres to infection control policies; maintains confidentiality and privacy.
